SMRT orders 66 Mercedes Benz Citaros!!!

It is reported on the Daimler site that SMRT has ordered 66 Mercedes Benz Citaro buses! Besides being the first fully low floor WAB buses, they are also the first integral buses in bulk purchased. Looking forward to board them soon!!!

The first bus has already reached our shores. There is no further details on the commencement date, or whether modification would be done.

Sentosa: Old and New

The old:

Sentosa used to be full of these “wooden” signages. It really gives a laid-back resort island feel.

The old monorail tracks. The old monorail seems to have more purpose than the new one. Talk about tourist friendly transport.

The New:

The area under the tracks are now renovated into a new U-turn point for new and longer trams. The area is also full of commercialised F&B outlets.

The new Isuzu coaches from Woodlands Transport. They are seemingly replacing the open-top deckers of Sentosa for the day. (Muhd Faizal)
